Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Kelly Nash Advisory, LLC ("Kelly Nash Advisory") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit kellynash.co (the "website"), take the Career Authorship™ Quiz, subscribe to The Career Script newsletter, book a call, or purchase services and resources.

Kelly Nash Advisory does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to anyone. Only the information needed to deliver what you asked for is collected, and this policy explains plainly how it's used.

By using the website, you agree to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the website or submit your information. This policy may be updated as the business and its tools change, and the revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If a material change affects how information you've already provided is used, you'll be notified by email before it takes effect.

Information Collected

Information you provide directly. When you take the quiz, subscribe to the newsletter, download a resource, book a call, fill out a contact or intake form, or purchase a service or product, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, billing information, and any details you choose to share in forms or messages.

Quiz responses. When you take the career quiz, Kelly Nash Advisory collects your answers to the quiz questions, the result those answers produce, and the name and email address you provide to receive your results. Your answers reflect how you see your work and career right now. They are treated as personal information and used only as described in this policy.

Coaching and consulting information. If you become a client, you may share information about your career history, goals, workplace, and professional challenges through intake questionnaires, session notes, and assessments. This information is handled under your client agreement and the confidentiality section below.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, kellynash.co automatically collects certain technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and general location (city or region level). This is collected through cookies and analytics tools described below.

Payment information. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Kelly Nash Advisory never stores full credit card numbers.

How Your Information Is Used

Your information is used to:

  • Deliver your quiz results and send follow-up emails related to your result

  • Tailor the newsletter content, resources, and offers you receive based on your quiz result and interests

  • Send The Career Script and other emails you've opted into

  • Schedule and deliver coaching sessions, workshops, and consulting engagements

  • Process payments, send receipts, and manage client records

  • Respond to your questions and requests

  • Understand how visitors use the website and improve it

  • Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations

Quiz results may be reviewed in aggregate (for example, how many people land on each result) to improve content and programs. Aggregate data does not identify you.

Legal basis for visitors in the EU and UK. If you're located in the European Union or United Kingdom, your information is processed based on your consent (for example, when you subscribe or take the quiz), to perform a contract with you (when you book or buy), or for Kelly Nash Advisory's legitimate interests in operating and improving the business, where those interests don't override your rights.

How Your Information Is Shared

Personal information is shared only with service providers that help run the business, and only as needed for them to do that work. These include providers for website hosting, the career quiz, email marketing, client management and invoicing, scheduling, payment processing, digital product delivery, video conferencing, file storage, workflow automation, and website analytics. These providers process data on Kelly Nash Advisory's behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

When the business moves to a new provider, your information may be held by both the previous and new provider during the transition. Once the move is complete, your information will be deleted from the previous provider.

Information may also be disclosed if required by law, court order, or government request, to protect Kelly Nash Advisory's legal rights, or in connection with a sale, merger, or transfer of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help websites function and remember your preferences. The website and its service providers use cookies to keep the site working properly, remember your settings, and understand how visitors use the site.

The website uses Google Analytics and Squarespace analytics to see which pages are visited, how people arrive at the site, and how long they stay. This information is used to improve the content. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the website, including the quiz, may not work as intended if cookies are disabled.

No third-party advertising cookies are used on this website.

Email Marketing

When you take the quiz or subscribe, you'll be added to the Kelly Nash Advisory email list. That includes your quiz results, a short series of follow-up emails, and The Career Script newsletter, which may include information about programs and services.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email, or by emailing kelly@kellynash.co. Unsubscribing from marketing emails won't affect transactional messages tied to a service you've purchased, such as scheduling confirmations or invoices.

Kelly Nash Advisory complies with the CAN-SPAM Act and never shares or sells its email list to other businesses.

Coaching and Consulting Clients

What you share in coaching sessions, intake forms, and assessments stays confidential. Kelly Nash Advisory follows the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics, and the specific terms of confidentiality are set out in your coaching agreement. Client stories, quotes, or results are never used in marketing without your written permission.

For organizational consulting engagements, information about employees and internal programs is governed by the confidentiality terms of the contract with the client organization. Individual employees who receive coaching through an employer-sponsored program should refer to that program's agreement for what, if anything, is reported back to the organization.

How Long Information Is Kept

Personal information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described here. Email subscriber and quiz data is kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Client records and transaction information are kept for up to seven years to meet tax and accounting requirements, then deleted or anonymized.

How Your Information Is Protected

Kelly Nash Advisory uses reputable service providers with industry-standard security, secure (HTTPS) connections on the website, and access controls on the accounts where your information is stored. No method of transmitting or storing data online is completely secure, so absolute security can't be guaranteed. If a breach affects your personal information, you will be notified as required by law.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information held about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of your information

  • Object to or restrict how your information is used

  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that happened before you withdrew

To make any of these requests, email kelly@kellynash.co. You'll receive a response within 30 days, and identity verification may be required first. Exercising your rights will not affect how you're treated. If you're in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children's Privacy

This website and its services are intended for adults. Personal information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information, email kelly@kellynash.co and it will be deleted.
